Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) is currently seeking a full-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to be responsible for supporting marketing/branding activities and internal/external communications through various day-to-day programming, content, and administrative duties. This role is also responsible for GVHA corporate event logistics.

Ideally, you have post-secondary education in Marketing or Communications, with at least three years of related experience in a marketing and communications role. A minimum of two years of event planning experience is required. You have experience developing strategic marketing plans and are proficient with all types of media platforms and MS office applications. Experience with photography, videography, and design software is an asset.

The successful candidate will have the ability to develop marketing materials for multiple mediums, and creative social media marketing campaign strategies. Demonstrating excellent verbal, written and editing communication skills as well as stakeholder and client relation skills is key, along with being very organized, attention detailed, and enjoying working collaboratively in a diverse and busy office environment.
